This is a time in which the Deep Sacred Feminine within us is calling us to stand up and speak the truths of our hearts.
The intention of our ‘womenswork’ is the reclaiming of our feminine power ~ through opening to our bodies, and reconnecting with the Knowing that lies deep within us.
In this way we will not be controlled by, or in reaction to, the values that have been imposed upon us, and passed down through the generations, and which block us from fully receiving the potency of the feminine.
Without imitating masculine modes of power and influence, we want to act in our homes, in our relationships, in our communities, and in the world, with complete confidence in our potency as women.
And our experience has shown us that it is difficult to do this alone. We need to nurture and carve out a sisterhood of women ~ not in order to crush men, but in order to come into full and authentic relationship with the masculine.
And whether we will be received or not, we need to come into full and authentic relationship with our deepest feminine selves.
THE SHIVA-SHAKTI DANCE-MEDITATION If you have never danced before and would like to find out more - come and be gently introduced to this ancient dance form, and feel the magic field of all the other dancing Shakties. There is a lot to be learned and received from other women's dropping into their bodies' remembering.
This is a time and space to deepen into receiving the ancient/ future transmission of the deep feminine - a transmission that is nested deep down in our wombs, in our uterus, in our moments of remembering, in our non-rational, intuitive, flowing, magical field - the one that we dare to enter when we feel grounded and safe enough.
One of the beauties and pleasures of this dance, is that every woman's dance is unique, and passes through various qualities and textures as she grows and changes back to her original shape. It is such a pleasure to be with each other as we trust our own flowing effortless bodies, allowing our cellular, energetic uncoiling from millennia of Slumber, allowing the flow to return us to our receptivity and receiving the knowing that is there for us to drink from.

WEEKLY SHIVA-SHAKTI GROUPS (CLOSED & DROP-IN)
There are weekly closed and open 'Shiva Shakti Dance-Meditations' groups.
There are new closed groups starting regularly. One is a midday group, the other is in the early evening.
There is a cycle of five sessions, after which women can leave or renew for another five.
There is also a drop-in group starting in Dartington, near Totnes

SHIVA-SHAKTI EVENTS

These events take place at the equinoxes and solstices.
Times: Friday night from 6.30pm to 9.00pm (an extra, introductory session for women who have not danced the Shiva Shakti dance-meditation before).
Saturday from 10.00am to 5.30pm (for everyone)
Cost: £47 (£39 concession) - Saturday only (for those who have been to this dance before)
£62 (£54 concession) - Friday night and Saturday
£15 (£12.50 concession) - Friday night only (the extra session for newcomers, in which I introduce the dance).

THE INITIATORY JOURNEY
Dear Sisters,
Next autumn (September 2010) I am going to be gathering a small group of women to walk together a journey of recovering the dismembered sacred feminine mandala. This Initiatory Journey will be a re-membering of the different faces of the divine feminine that have lain dormant for millennia. In these times of change and crisis we are invited more than ever to hear Her calling, and to gracefully move through the onslaught of conditioning that paralyses our radiant hearts.
As women we have an affinity with the feminine universal principal, and we are invited to listen and be guided by Her fierce tender message of the heart. This journey will guide women as to how to keep choosing and embracing the ancient-future empowered sacred feminine.
The journey will consist of a series of 6 weekends and one five day retreat, stretching over 9 months. We will be creating individual and personal initiations into maintaining the choice to live as empowered feminine women in the world. The journey will be associated with a Men's Initiatory Journey, and at some point we will be joining with them.
Through each weekend we will explore specific personal and archetypal themes - Mother ('The Ground', Self-Love, relationship with body as woman), The Warrior (anger, power, boundaries, fear), The Lover (sensuality, sexuality, love, vulnerability, feeling textures and how we conduct energy), The Shaman / Priestess (intuition, the empowered feminine and relationship with the sacred). We will be looking into the mirrors of both the pure and distorted archetypes we have inherited through the feminine line. We will learn to see the journey of the feminine from both the individual and the collective perspective. In other words, the enquiry into the personal will be embedded in the collective. We will learn tools and practices to develop choice, to stand in the centre, and to embody the Whole Woman who is able to express and feel all the faces of the feminine that we have been cut off from.
In this time together we will enter our enquiry through tantric dance, creativity and dialogue. Alongside the weekends there will also be experiential 'home tasks', and throughout you will be supported by the community of self-initiating women - weaving each other into wholeness once again. If you feel moved to join us, please contact me. There will be places for twelve women (so with me, we will be thirteen).
